Guitars commonly follow fashion trends in their styles. Every year we can find lots of new models of guitars which have got better sound features and fashionable design. Electric guitars are considered to be universal with no particular national signs. Mostly, but not necessarily. The spring 2008 collection of Ibanez instruments breaks the norms of a global style and brings in a specific ethnic flavor.

Any guitar producer has got its own customs and most of them like manufacturing models that are similar to their classic shapes and characteristics. For example, Epiphone, Gibson and Fender perform the same, but not Ibanez. Surely, that is the sound which prior of all matters in a guitar instrument, but when the instrument is also a pleasure for the eyes, satisfaction doubles.

The Ibanez Spring 2008 Special Limited Edition undoubtedly reveals the Japanese roots of the brand. Keeping to the brand's quality traditions, the new RG and SRX series are also the triumph of beauty. Such components as “Japan black” finish and red binding make these instruments look truly Japanese. The tender sakura glyptic prompts a subtle note of something impalpable that you can't grasp but may definitely sense.

The modern RGR is even more surely “Made in Japan.”. This ninja “weapon”, intended for an assassination on stage, is ascetically plain in its appearance but dangerously powerful in its sound. The guitar is clothed in black, with no adornment but a white body and neck binding. This model comprised all the ideas of minimalism.
