There are 3 kinds of human interactions: conversational, transactional and collaborative.
If you want to make the right choice with regard to software application, you have to understand the differences that are significant between these interactions.
An interaction of conversation is a transfer of ideas and an interaction of transaction is transfer of a transaction entity between 2 or more participants, whereas collaborative interaction is meant for a modification of a collaboration entity, for example: reaching a common goal.
Interactions of collaboration are structured in such a way that the key goal of the participants is to modify the collaboration substance from what used to be unstable and immaterial, for example, an idea, into a useful solution, for instance a blueprint.
